A Validator is a critical piece of blockchain networks, they receive and validate transactions.

A set of validators, is a collection of validators that have consensus on the same blockchain.

The voting power of each validator is based on the number of tokens they have in their account, either owned or delegated (staked) by others.

As part of performing this validation, each validator is also responsible for verifying the integrity of the transactions they receive and receive a commission for each transaction, named rewards.
